Who is eligible for a discount?
The following professionals can get verified by simply providing a few pieces of information to ID.me.
Military: Active duty service members, veterans, and retirees of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), and CAF dependents.
First Responder (active or retired) : Police officers, firefighters, EMT, correctional service Canada (CSC) officers.
Teachers: Classroom teachers, principals, school employees, college professors.
Nurses: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (APNP), Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (PN/LPN).
Doctors: Physicians licensed to practice in Canada with a province or territory medical license, or proof of board certification.
Are there exclusions to this discount?
Currently, this discount program is ONLY applicable on products available on our geappliances.ca site. Additional restrictions may apply.
Where can I use my discount?
After you’re verified and signed up at the GE Appliances Online Store, you can use your discount code on any product that you choose to purchase.
How do I sign up for discounts with GE Appliances?
Verify your status through our partner, ID.me to receive a unique, one time use promo code for your GE Appliances purchase. After completing verification, apply the code at checkout to receive exclusive savings. If there are any issues with getting your status verified or the process, contact ID.me support.
Do I need to verify my status every time I shop?
For GE Appliances the promo codes are unique and one time use only.
For other ID.me partners, teachers and nurses do have a re-verification period because it is possible for people to leave that profession. ID.me has standard expirations, but partners can also force their own re-verification windows.
